Default a4 2003 v6 3.0L quattro chip installation

Hi,

I have an A4 V6 3.0L Quattro 2003 (sport package).

I just purchased an "Accelerator Horsepower Enhancer" to add10-25 horsepowers and help throttle responsiveness. I knowit iseasy to installbut Iam not a mechanic and the instructions are a bit too generic for me with no picture.

Here is what they say about where/ howtoinstall it:
"Step 1 Turn off your engine and remove key from ignition"

"Step 2. Now you are ready to install the Accelerator to your INtake Air Temperature sensor (IAT). The 2 Wire IAT sensor is located between the air intake or the air box and the throttle body... Some vehicles use a combination plug for the Mass Air/IAT sensor's, locate your Coolant Temperature Sensor. If you are not sure you might locate the wrong sensor such as the 02 or Mass Air sensor. The (CTS) Sensor is generally located near your Thermostat housing on your intake manifold or on the side of your engine block this will only be a 2 wire sensor as well."

"Step 3. Un-plug your sensor from the sensor. Take the black wire from the Accelerator and connect it to any oe ofyour sensor wires by using the scotch lock provided. Then take the orange wire form the Accelerator and connect it to the other wire on your sensor by using the scotch lock provided... Once you have connected the module simply plug it back into your sensor."

Questions:
Can anyoneprovidea picture as to where the sensor is located on? Any other advice

Thanks a bunch

Louis

first i doubt you will get 10 hp, 2nd why the hell would you bother, if you want to waste money get a chip that will give you a 6 hp gain.

Retrun that and get your money back. Its useless and may actually damage your car.

Trust me, everything you read on the internet is not true, especially claims to add 25 hp to your car for $50 with a simple sensor replacement.

dude those guys were joking it dosent do anything.and that chip thing you got is BS. what it does is basically tell your engine that its getting more air than normal then it dumps in more fuel without more air. this lead to more fuel consumption and maybe 2-3 more HP because of the extra fuel. the same results can be achieved by taking off your ECT sensor, sure youl burnalot fuel, but hey youll get a few more ponied. there isa chip for your NA cars though, though they add maybe 2-6hp they really do help with throllte response and reset the powerband so you have more low end grunt and as much top end power as possible, basically tuning the engien to the full potential. but that is a legit chip which goes for i believe 4-500 dollars.
