Bought an old A4 a couple of weeks ago, and it's not been tracking back from right lock since day 2, over the weekend it started making a knocking sound when turning right, and today it got worse and has started squeaking at every little bump and stop. I'm sure that the knocking is caused by the CV joint, as I've had a look at it and the boot has come off and the metal is looking shiny, and as I don't want my wheel to fall off, I've got it booked in to get sorted. Does anyone know if the other problems (squeaking and not tracking back) are likely to be caused by this aswell, or am I going to be having more serious stuff go wrong in the near future?
