I just bought a '00 A4 1.8 auto. No owner's manual, repo'd? Anyway, the keyless entry stopped working (it locked once)...is there some trick or some way it got turned off?

The mpg light went to "2:00h" on way home...can you explain this?

The shifter has a + and - slot off to the right...what is that?

Is there a place to get a manual?

The 2:00 flashes whenever you've been driving for 2 hours ata time...to remind you to take a break on long hauls.

If the keyless entry doesn't work, its either a dead battery in your key fob or a blown vaccuum pump. Does your locking system make noise, like it's trying to engage, or does nothing happen? If nothing happens, its likely the battery.

Check eBay or the classifieds section of this forum, AudiZine and AudiWorld for the owners manual...they come up from time to time.

-Yea it can be reprogrammed, click on the search section and type in keyless entry or something like that. You'll find answers, trust me.

-It means you've been driving for two and the nice german engineers think you should take a break. It can also do this randomly so ignore it.

-You can basically up and down shift like a manual trans only less fun and dramatic.

-Amazon.com or Ebay have Bentley manuals at cheap prices. If you're mechanically inclined the Bentley manual will be your friend.
