A4 - Noise Help
I recently got my first A4, 2.0T Automatic, last month and I've had an interesting noise problem ever since. Basically when I am idoling, or putting only a small amount of pressure on the gas, about 70% of the time my car will make a very loud, slightly high-pitched noise until it reaches 10mph or comes to a complete stop. The noise also causes a lull in the speed pick up (almost like it is being held back) and a vibration will occur on either the break pedal or the gas.
I took it into service who believed it was my breaks and therefore proceeded to take them apart to repair it. Only problem is that when I got back my car (with several miles added) the noise didn't go away and got even more frequent in occurance.
Does anyone have any theories as to why this is happening? This is my first Audi, however I'm pretty sure this isn't usual. Any insight to my problem would be GREATLY appreciated.
Thanks!
