Why is it that the pricing on used B5s is so low? For example, in my area (Bay Area, California) my car has a private party value of about 7600 to 8020 (this is a 1996 w/quattro). However, I see them being sold for as low as 3000...I really don't get it. I just saw one sold here (1996 86K miles quattro) for 10,500. Then I look somewhere else and see them at really low prices. Can someone help me out?

and the B5 is a 3rd gen model now

 

haha i live bay area too the reslae value is why i own n audi haha only 7000 grand bu had 120k miles when i bought it prob why but o well on my old car i had 133k so gain for me

 

if your getting near 8k for a car that is almost 10 years old consider it lucky, i personally wouldnt pay that much and i own an audi

 

damnn.. i wonder if i should sell my car down there..
