yeah - those ATF lines were a big supprise when I did my Timing belt - since most everyone else on here has a manual and the DIY is for a manual I had never heard of them being there. I've heard that tipronic trany's are not that easy to rebuild either - you should have an open and closed case of a bad mechanic if you have take this to court. Think on the good side - your going to get a new/rebuilt tranny out of this.

Yeah it is not really a big deal to me cause this guy is replacing the tranny and guaranteed it before for 12 months all fixes will be paid for by them.

In response to the ATF flush thats a negative. the transmission full on exploded internally. It had to be dragged on to the truck. The interior of the car reeks of burned tranny fluid and all the fluid dumped on the truck and road. was like it was on fire smoking down the hwy.

Glad to hear it - sounds like they had insurance to cover things like this. Your car is officially ready for another 200k
