I took my car into the shop this morning and dropped it off and they gave me an '07 to drive. I was on my way to work and I noted a few things that the '07 doesn't do that my '05 does do.......and they're not good things either. First off..........my brakes make an awful metallic grinding noise when I come to a stop. Second...........my blinker / signalmakes a snapping noise when ever I lift it up or push it down. Are these all normal things? Are these weirdo things? Help me please.

 

metal grinding on brakes are never a good thing..mean either pads are gone...rotors are gone..and as for the turn signal i never really fully use it because of the one time touch it blinks 3 times...but if i do fully tap it up or down it is alittle harsher thanother cars..but i dont think that is something to worry about..(unless it is..??)

 

what........you mean if I tap it down it'll flash/blink three times......that's so cool I didn't know that. See I don't have an owners manual so I have NO clue about my car at all.

I thought it might be my brake pads. Guess it could be my rotors too though.

yeah but i would get that checked out..is your car still at the stealership?if so just tell them and they should fix everything warrantied.

 

They're gonna check em but they ain't happy about it.........

 

I gotta take my car in for service soon, too, before I hit 50k
