Aftermarket steering wheels don't have airbags. The audi i just picked up has the 4 spoke wheel and while it does its jub, it's the one thing that i don't like about my interior. If i were to install my MOMO would i have problems with an Air bag light? Also, any pics of aftermarket wheels in audis? Thanks guys.

 

why installl a momo when the stock sport steering wheel is so nice PLUS u get an airbag. check the classifieds for a deal

 

ya please dont disgrace your audi with a momo type aftermarket wheel. Find a sport steering wheel.

 

Oh no, it would def not be permanat, but since there are mods i want to do more, timing belt, chip and so on, untill i have some free cash i want a temp fix, i like the sport wheel, but i gotta get osme cash

+1 Best place to find em are the salvage yards. Or go to shokan.com, they always have them. Check the local classifieds too. IMO the b5 sport steering wheel looks better than any aftermarket or other Audi OEM...except the RS4 euro steering wheel, that thing is sweet.

 

That sounds like a complete waste of money. Just have patience. You can get a used sport wheel for the cost of a momo wheel.

Oh I see. Well in that case it seems like a waste of time and effort. Plus it will look shitty imo. And wouldnt you be regretfull if for some reason, god forbid, you get into an accident in the meantime and have no air bag to save your face?
