Aaaaaaaand I'm done

I got me some sweet organic pads because they cost more than regular ones, so they have to be better.

Also, squeeky brakes doesnt necessarily mean your pads are toast. Inspect them, but, Id be more worried about your rotors than your pads. If they are glazed, not even the highest quality pad will help your braking performance. Maybe you should check out some organic rotors... I hear Autozone sells some made out of corn stalks.

Thats the most ignorant thing Ive ever seen anyone post... You might be right about them being better, but still.. Cost is not always an indicator of quality. What makes them organic anyway??? Are they made of tree bark?

1. they last longer
2. they don't make as much dust
3. they have a higher friction coeficient so they are more effective
4. they don't fade as quickly when they heat up
5. and they also bite better when they are still cold
And as far as my rotors go, they are in good shape. Still well within the tolerances (yes, I know how to use a micrometer) and they don't appear to be glazed.

Cyberlogic where did you get the pads and how much did you spend, my brakes make a terrible amount of brakedust and im thinking of just doing them for the summer so i dont have to do my rims 2x a week.
Organic pads make the most black dust. They havethe highest coefficient of friction.
Semi-metalic last longer and produce less dust.
Ceramic last the longest and produce the least amount of dust.

Organic pads do bite better when cold, do to greater friction with little
brake force.
Organic pads are soft and wear out faster than semi-metalic and ceramic pads.
They heat up very fast and release the heat with mucho black brake dust.

That was also a (apparently) very successful display of sarcasm.

1. No they dont
2. Yes they do
3. Depends on ambient conditions
4. Possibly
5.Most pads do
