Im about to sell my 96 A4Q & pick up a 01 A4 1.8TQ with 54K. My question was anyone know of any problems with this car that stand out? Also, does the car come with a stock boost gauge or should that be one of the first things to look into since i plan on doing some mods to it? Thanks

i dont think ive seen any audis that come stock with a bosot gauge its an easy install tons of ppl have done it here, good luck with the new whip, WHY NOT A B6

to be serious for a second, if you like the B5 styling and don't plan on modding your 1.8T, the '01 is the choice if you want the B6 power with the lighter and different style of the B5.........

A b5 with only 54k, its just getting broken in.
Common things to watch out for.....loose steering (tie-rod-ends), noise in suspension (control arms) cant think of much else.

Hazard relay is a common but easy fix, Cruse control working when it wants to is a common problem. i cant think about any more butthe obvious, do some searches..............
