Default ABS and Break light staying on please help

Hi Guy's
Can any of you guru's please help me, My abs and break light are staying on on the instrument panel. When I start the car the light's are off but after about 100 metres they come on. I have checked the pad's and there is plenty of beef on them. I have checked the fuses and they are fine. Plenty of fluid.
Please help

The problem most likely is that your abs module went bad. I have the same problem....but I don't need abs so I am not worried about it. On ebay you can find rebuilt ones for around 200 shipped.

But before buying one, I would make sure that is the problem. It could just be a bad ground somewhere, someone on af had that problem a while back.

^he's right. The abs module is a known problem for Audi. I know many people that it happened to. Use your judgement. Do you think you need it? If so get it rebuilit. (They usually come with a warranty) You could also get a new one from Audi but that will be at least $1000+ for that module.

I believe it was about 1700 when I checked and that is when I realized that I need to just drive a little slower in the rain*.
