Hi everyone .. new to theaudi forum .. Just posted on the new member section ..

Need some help .. I just purchased a 1999 A4 2.8..with88,500 .. Casablanca white with Tan interior. The other day, i left the dome light on ..which drained the battery ..Had the car jumped .. no problem .. but shortly there after I get the ABS Light and blinking brake light? Its been going on for the last two days .. its not on all the time .. just comes on and goes away ... Btw, when i start the car, the system dash indicated OK .. the ABS light and Blinking flashing light comes on when I am driving for a period of time.

Do you think its because the batteryor i have a bad ABS controller?Based on my search, the ABS light and brake should reset itself, shouldn't it?Man, I hope I don't have to replace the ABScontroller?FYI, the brakes feel really good plus the brakes were replaced about 15,000 miles ago, not low on fluidand the brake fluid was flushed last month.

its your abs module mine and my buddys do the same thing . there is a place in america that you can send your stock one to and get it fixed and warranty for 5 years for i think 300 bucks. or you can have a audi dealer get you one for 1500 canadian

 

I was afraid that its going to be a bad ABS module .. I just bought the damn car .. I test drove the car for about 40 minutes and all was fine .. Nothing ..two day later bam!Thanks for the suggestions and information ..
