acceleration difference

So it could be lag. The 04 pulls hard from 1k and the 03 doesn't pull until 3k. It's almost as if it was gasping for air...have I been introduced to turbo lag? That's why I didn't suspect the gearing differnece from the start. Perhaps they made some serious improvements in a years time to compensate for lag. Regardless, from what I've read it sounds like chipping is a good solution.

vert is usually short for convertible. Im not quite sure why it was used in this context.

Sorry, for some reason I thought avant meant convertible.

You learn something new everyday.

I see now that it is the wagon, which is why it is heavier.
