Help!!!!!!!!
My friends friend dad own a private used car lot. He knows that I'm in the market for a used Audi A4. He recently got one in stock. I took it for a test drive runs great. I did notice the engine is a bit noisy and has a clicking sound. Is that normal for Audi's? Its a 2008 A4 2.0 S line (whatever that means) and it has 58000 miles. He's giving me a deal for 13500. What do you guys think?

I also have a 2008 A4 and my engine is also on the noisier side and has a slight tick. My neighbor drove by the other day and his sounds the same, so I'm pretty sure it's normal. It almost sounds like a diesel to me.
Depending on what condition your A4 is in, I'd say a 2008 with 58K mi. for $13,500 is a great deal. They can be expensive to fix though, so you might want to check what type of work he's already done on it, if any. I'd also check the Carfax to make sure it's been regularly maintained. You might not always be able to glean that info. from Carfax but it's still a useful tool in leaning a little more about the cars previous life.
Good luck in whatever you decide.

Well, I would say do a carfax. Also I would see if he would run the car nearly out of gas and put premium in it, and see if it clears up. $13500, sounds like a good deal, but it may need a timing belt soon. Download the owners manual and look at the maintenance schedule.
