I have a 99.5 1.8T, tip tranny. I was wondering if there are any aftermarket torque converters? For mods I have the giac ecu upgrade, borla, techtonics high flow cat, tip chip. When I went to KTR in MA, they said my torque converter could be slipping because once in a while the tranny will jerk into gear. I'm going to get the k04 installed soon, and I'm concerned that all the mods may be putting undue stress on the tranny/torque converter?
