This wire leads to the fron tof my car, but it dosnt have anything attacked to it. is this the reason why my outside temp reading is wrong? doest that wire attach to the sensor?

yes, it should have like a looped stick attached it sits behind the bumper for outside temps

 

Yes that should be connected to something. Check on the front bottom of the radiator, here is a pic of the piece that mine was attached to before i moved it.

so thats a normal looking plug..with the two metals prongs sticking out???...all i needed is the sensor???? if i dont have a sensor why the hell is it even reading temperatures?

i need to order this part asap, so if anyone can tell me if the wire looks normal, and all it needs is the sensor?
