Will the autozone expert be able to tell me my airbag light code or can his top of the line equipment only tell me check engine codes.

The reason i ask is i went to autozone with my check engine light and air bag light on. i already knew why my check engine light was on (test pipe, it goe son and off) and he plugs it in and tells me my 02 sysner is gone i explain to him and basically tell him to ignore that and tell me my air bag code and he rips the scanner out and tells me how he is gunna ******* report me to the DMV for not having a cat. and all this crap.

 

I think autozone only carries OBD scanners, in other words it only reads codes that will cause a check engine light.

A common cause for airbag lights is a loose connector under the passenger seat. Check there .
