Hey Fellas, My Airbag light has come on, What could possibly be the problem.... Just bought a 1998.5 1.8TQM. What could be the possible problems. Also I am getting my brakes replaced, what would be a good option....?

 

sammodon, do a quick search and you'll see a few suggestions on what it could be.

 

My airbag light came on last year and it turned out the the side airbag on the drivers side went out. $800 later I had a new airbag and no AB light on anymore. Oh, and they said if the airbag light is on that known of the airbags will deploy in an accident. Not sure if that was true or they just wanted to get some money out of me.
