So i just bought a 98 a4 1.8t...Noticed that the air bag light was on and heard that alot of the time a wire comes disconnected..just wanted to know if an OBDII code reader could tell me what the problem is or if i have to use vag-com.

 

OBD II wont pull the code.

the most likely connections to come loose are those under the front passenger seat. check those.
