hi
could you tell me if the aircon has a filter somewhere as im getting a smell from it ? its not a really bad smell but it is a smell

There is a cabin filter, located under the hood, near the firewall on drivers side. Top right corner of the hood if your staniding in front of the car.

is this filter easily removed ? and what is it kept in ?DOES anyone have a picture of exactly where it is ?

It a filter, just like an air filter for an intake.

Its in a plastic box in the location I described. Undo the srews, and take the top off.

my car is right hand drive so where will the filter be ?

Dont't know. On the US cars (b5) it is on the passenger side right under the bottom of the windshield. YOu have to remove the plastic cover over that area and then you should see the filter.
