Alignment-ESP module
What's up,
I went to get my tires rotated and an alignment done on my 2002 A4 3.0 Quattro and, after an hour, the shop told me that they couldn't perform the alignment because of the "ESP module" installed on the car. They told me that their system told them to "refer to dealership." Has anyone else had a problem like this? It's a pretty repuatable shop around my town, so I don't know what to think. Also, I got out of work today and had a flat tire. It's allll very suspicious; but, it's probably something random.
Thanks,
John

They couldn't do the alignment because of the ESP module......???? RIGHT.........
That sounds like a cheap way of saying they don't know what the hell they were doing.
Being in the trunk while performing an alignment is normal however because the suspension code is located by the spare tire. (little white sticker)

Thanks a lot for the help...that shop wasn't on the list in the link you provided by the way. It really pisses me off that I spent an hour there while they tried to figure that out.
