I don't know what you guys are looking at. That is the opposite of debadging. I think the 1.8T and A4 stick out even more now than when they were chromed.
they may stand out more to you, but they LOOK bettter. The whole point of debadging is for the clean looks. By changing the shiny chrome to black, it makes the badges look a hell of a lot better.

thanks waylan. I did not want to debadge it because everyone does. So i figured I would leave them and and just make them look better

Want to help the looks even more? Lose the cheap license plate bracket. The only way I would have one of those on is if they paid me for advertising !!! Get a nice plain chrome or Black to match your badges.
