Default Alternator Question

i have a 1999 Audi a4 1.8 t FWD, and i jsut wanna make sure this is whats going on. I ordered my alternator to putin my car, and from what it looks like, Do i have to remove the fornt bumper, headlights and radiator to get to the belt to remove it? With out removin all of this, it looks like it next to impossible? Just wondering if maybe its better to let a shop do it, and spend the extra money.

Default RE: Alternator Question

You dont have to but its a tight squeeze if you dont remove the front end. Check the timing belt writups on audiworld. Removing the front end isnt as hard as it sounds.
