alternator troubles maybe??
98.5 30v
ok so for a while now i've notice the change in the volume of my bose system depending on what speed or gear I'm in. I was going to school before, on route 78. I'd hit congestion and have to slow down to like 35 (3rd gear), then i'd accelerated to 65+ (5th gear) and all of a sudden the volume gets louder and the bass hits harder (i noticed because one of the rear decks is blown). Could this be signs of alternator troubles? Or bose amp troubles?

Doesnt Audi's and other car makers stereo's automaticaly adjust the volume levels depending on the noise that enters the cabin, or surrounding noises depending on engine speed or something like that?? Like if you get on the freeway and open your windows it will get louder??? i think ive read that somewhere.
yep i believe onepoint8tee is correct. check owners manual to adjust or over- ride this option if its
annoying.
if you had an alternator problem your battery would probably be dead by now.
