Default ABS troubles

I searched the forum and could find any matching problem like mine. I am having atroubles with the Abs going off all the time noe when i am just about stopped.Has anyone ever had a problem like this and what should i replace first? I once had a lifted yukon and it did the same thing. the problem ended up being in the hub where the sensor is located. Im wondering if this could be a bad wheel bearing possibly?? also there is no abs light on. Thanks for any help.

Likely a cracked tone ring or a bad VSS. You can observe the VSS via an oscilloscope or a VAGcom. The tone rings can be visually inspected and are located on the CVs.

pull out the sensors at each wheel and try cleaning them along with the aformentioned tone rings which are on the cv joint itself inside the hub.
