Got my car. Has decent amount of miles on it...

Brought it in for inspection. Failed safety.

The mechanic said my Right side Rear Wheel hub needed to be replaced. I dont know if i trusted him, so im bringing it to my mechanic who works on AUDI.

the noise is annoying and squeeky, but isnt permament, sometimes it stops but most of the time its going.

What are signs of a bad wheel hub? How long should a wheel hub take to change if i have the mechanic do it?

when does it squeak?

 

wheel hub = bearing this will groan and give a louder pitch the faster you go, Brought it in for inspection. Failed safety. ???? bearings dont squeak but suspension does?

 

yeah mine did it too i needed springs AND i replaced the bearing plates for the struts and KYB struts, then it went away. If it was a bearing you will get some vibration over 55 and it will smooth out at like 80 i know because ive replace every little piece on my suspension.

 

Yeah i brought in for inspection. The mecahnic said ther wheel hub needed to be replaced not sure if he was honest or not.

It squeaks if im driving slow....it will squeak if im going fast.

But sometimes like this monring (of course when im dropping it off to the mechanic) it was silent.

I realized i was able to actually shake the tire when it was on the car bolted so i know something has to be wrong in there...

Sucks because i didnt buy the car like that, NYC already owns another one of my vehicles due to ****** potholes...
