Default ANOTHER CEL: P1129 Knowledge Welcome!

So i thre a brand new check engine code, i used to have all sorts of misfire codes and i had a system too lean code.

I reset those codes after working on a few things and the CEL came back on, only this time its giving me:

P1129 Long Term Fuel Trim mult.,Bank2 System too Rich

My car idles horrible when warming up (guessing something to do with coil packs, or secondary air injection pump)
It also dies in mid-travel every once in a while a few times in a row.

Those are the only symptoms i ahve and i dont think they have anything to do with this new code.

PLEASE HELP!!

Could have a bad O2 sensor, and clean your MAF and clear the fault, if it comes back i would bet you have a faulty O2 sensor.

How many o2 sensors does the car have? And where is the best place to buy a new one?

You only have 2 on a 1.8T there is probably only 1 malfunctiong but replacing both would be good preventative maintance. Nothing less than the factory O2 sensors should be used. The price at the dealer is always negotiable remember that when he prices you something bogus.

Any way ro tell which one is malfunctioning from the code I threw. As much as I would love to replace both I really just can't afford it right now. And I'm sure there has to be an OEM spec o2 sensor made by Bosch or someone that is just as nice as the dealerships. I just hate to give the dealer money for anything.

Bosch does make the factory O2 sensors, but i would imagine its your after cat O2 sensor thats malfunctioning thats causing the fuel trim change.

If you have a 1.8t, you only have bank 1. The code seems bogus.

P1129 = long term fuel trim, entire speed/load range, bank 2 system too rich,
possible causes are excessive fuel in the oil, fuel pressure, EVAP canister purge valve, injector(s)
