Another great idea - SMIC cooling..

Yeah I am little confused as to how well it works. It seems that it is the same temps for the most part once you start to drive. The only real difference is when you are not moving... Or am I reading this thing wrong?

The basic (stock) intercooler setup has a air duct to the front bumper, so its effecient if your driving with enuf air to move thru it. What i basically did was eliminate that and make it so it moves air when the car is stop, or at low air speeds. This way it can move cooler air thru the SMIC

Are you trying to compare coolent temp to intake temp? Plus this is a crappy log. You really got to make one good run from 2k-7k for a decent graph.

my car is a auto so its hard to hit the redline. it likes to shift byitself

Oh, ok... so would you recommend this over a FMIC?

but. I did notice it cools the air faster when cruising after a hard run.

Since you are auto, this really wont show the numbers as accuratly since at 6k the iat's really skyrocket
OK, I know this is sort of off topic but not really, but what happens if the IAT gets to hot? Like running a PC-16 file with the stock SMIC?
Josh
If no one wants to answer thats cool. I don't want to thread jack.
