another HID question??

Is it fine to put HID headlights into stock housing 2001 A4 1.8T?

yeah I know, I have the same lights as you, assuming yours are stock.

Yah, your headlights will work with the hid's, i got the same year car and just bought them from visionbulbs and they look great! VERY easy, just plug in and turn on baby!

ultimately it's your call dude. but I would advise against it based on what I've learned here.

if you've got the cash for the HIDs now, why not just pick up a set of one piece headlights (should be able to get a pair for around the price of the visionbulbs kit), and wait a little while to get the xenons?

who says you have to get ecodes? or even brand new headlights? the lights on my 99.5 have nearly 100K on them, and they still look almost brand new. try looking around for someone who's upgrading their lights (perhaps to ecodes) and wants to sell their one piece projectors.
