Chef has a REVO. I actually just picked up the SPS Select device this afternoon. It will switch between stock, 91 octane, 93 octane, and security. I put in a quart of Octane 108 and switched it to 93. Unfortunately I haven't driven it more that 2 miles since then. Don't know if it made much of a difference or not. I'm sure by next weekend I'll have the answer.

Cheers!

Chef
chef...

where do you get 108 octane?

Octane 108 is a booster additive. It would be great to get the real thing from the pump, but I'm nowhere near a track.

Octane 108 is the best one that I've used. Using the RM/2 method a solution of 5% Octane 108 will give you a true octane rating of 108. I use 32oz, the whole bottle, for a single tank. That is approximately a 2% solution given a full tank of gas. I assume that puts the actual octane rating close to 95-96 octane. That should be sufficient enough to effectively run the 93 octane program. I'm heading out to drive around doing errands in a while so we'll see if there is a difference when all of the "new" fuel gets circulated through the fuel lines. I don't expect that much of a jump from the 91 program to tell you the truth. I just needed another little edge for Audinam next weekend. LOL The device is really very slick and it takes no time at all to switch the ecu. Very cool. There will be no write up with pictures so I guess you'll just have to bring your camera to the GTG next weekend.

Cheers!

Not the same stuff I've been using but I saw it on the shelf too. The bottle I use is 32oz Silver Can-like bottle that just says Octane 108. I guess that mine comes without a turbo? Good thing I already have one on the car. LOL

I have an extra bottle in the back I can show you next weekend. I got the last batch on sale for $5.99 per bottle and it is supposed to treat up to 44 gallons. I just use the whole bottle occasionally on fill-ups. I used it this time to check out the 93 program. I might use half a bottle on the next fill-up to see if it has any effect on the 93 program.

I did drive around for a while today and noticed a small difference in the car. It "breathes" much better now than the 91 octane program. I'm sure that I've gained a few horses, but definitely not like the original chip gains. I'm working on diminishing returns at this point. I'm needing that exhaust now! Can't wait!!!

I have a Vag-Com and laptop. I'll bring them to the GTG. Won't be able to stay for dinner but am looking forward to the big turnout. The last one was a lot of fun seeing everyone else's rides. Should be interesting this time. Quite a few new modes out there. I got some Neuspeed springs on my A3. Looks much better now. Lowered about two inches from the last GTG. See ya.
