1999 A4 1.8 turbo tiptronic quattro

Sole owner.

The last 3 years have been awful. This car has become a money pit and Audi is laughing at me all the way to the bank.

I am about to get my 3rd "transmission sensor" in the last 5 years. The first one went out 3000 miles after warranty and the last 2 have 14 months. between each. That is convenient becasue Audi only offers a 12 month part warranty. Nice.

Has anyone else this repeated problem? This is the obvious downside of having the onboard computer running everything.

I know you guys are Audi enthusiasts, but I regret the day 6 years when I sold my BMW to buy this Audi.

 

I totally agree with you for what the quality they represent. There complete ****. Honestly yes i share the same fustration and disappointment with you.
