Default Antifreeze

Coolant light popped on, and I noticed the tank if full of water. I bought some antifreeze, but not sure the best way to get the water out of the tank. Is there a drain valve somewhere that I'm not seeing? On my lunch break, so didn't have a long time to fiddle with it. Any advise is appreciated, thanks.

uh i think you should be asking why the tanks full of water, anyways the only real way to drain it is take the bumper off and twist the red drain plug, or you can just take off one of the hoses and drain everything in like 10 seconds, if you just need to drain water in the tank just unclamp the hoses and drain it that way but you will most likely end of spilling some coolant in the system.

you cant put any old anti-freeze in. universal yellow can work but not the green stuff. but NONE of these should be mixed with g12, which is what should be in your car. it should be a mix of g12 and water bout 50/50. as for draining the water, there's a plug on the bottom right of the radiator. i had to take my grill out of my s4 bumper to get to it. should be red, but might be black. you just unscrew that and all the coolant will pour out.

and if your coolant light is going on but the expansion tank is full it is most likely your ECT
