Red Antifreeze

Default Red Antifreeze

Anybody know where i can get some red antifreeze so i can top off? Autozone doesnt have it. Please dont tell me i have to order online...

Edit: Are you talking about G12? If so, you can pick it up at the stealership. But it's pink.

VW or Audi dealer. Some parts stores, especially the ones that specialize in euro parts, will have it in stock. VW/Audi brand or Pentosin brand makes no difference.

yeah you gotta mix it, G12 doesnt come pre mixed.

Do we Have to use red antifreeze or can we switch to something else after a full flush? Because i just added a little water and i now deff have to flush my coolent before the fall starts.

You can use the green stuff as long as you do a good flush before converting and not mix with the red. If you mix the red with the green it can gel up. The red is probably still better than the green as far as anti corrosive properties, etc. But lots of people use the green with no problems.
