Any opinion on which turbo timer to buy?

If youre not running to turbo to above normal operating temperature, meaning your not really honing on the turbo, then its really not necessary to give it ample time to cool down. If you beat on it, sit and let it cool down a little. If you drive it normally, i.e. not going about 4k, then you wont have to allow for a cool down period.
for the most part, yes that is correct. however, I wouldn't base your estimation of how much you're bagging on your turbo on RPM's alone. our cars can make full boost, and maximum torque, very low in the RPM range. if you're driving it under half throttle or more, you're heating up the turbo enough to the point where you should let it cool before you turn off the engine. if in doubt, let it cool down a bit. you'll be better off in the long run.
