Default turbo timer key fob

i just had a hks turbo timer installled on my 2001 a4 1.8t and the key fob with only work when the car totally shuts off.i have heard of a box you can purchase that will change that but i have had no luck of finding such a product.or mabey if someone knows another way to fix this problem im having please let me know it would be greatly appreciated. thank you.

I think it can be done with VAG like setting a timer for the central locking to lock when the engine shuts down or fit an aftermarket alarm,
not sure if there is a kit out there to do it though

i had the same problem with my turbo eclipse and the 791xv viper start/alarm combo and my greddy turbo timer, the key fob wouldnt work as long as the timer was running. my boss recommended that i diode isloate the ignition wires to the timer or the alarm. however i did not try this, this may work if you want to try it, just thought id throw that in there
