Anybody have pics/info on a 1.8T B5 instrument cluster taken apart?
I was looking at getting this boost gauge done (http://www.impconcepts.com/audis4boostgauge.htm), but the guy needs some details to make sure it will workon a 99.5 A4. Pics with the dial faceplates removed would be uber helpful.
Here is a pic of the version of cluster in my car....
I was also wondering about the possibilities of sacrificing the lame clock and installing a mechanical boost gauge in the same position, but i don't know what the circuit board looks like underneath (or if it would be feasible to cut the board anyway and solder in "patch" wires to reconnect the board).
Thoughts -- opinions -- been done before?!?

i think eliminating the clock and going mechanical boost guage would be awesome! gl with that and let us know how it goes.

Ok, got the cluster for $50 shipped off ebay. We'll see if I can make either idea happen.
