I have a 2000 a4 Q 1.8t 5 speed and i have just purchased a borla catback exhaust system with downpipe, found here,

I went to try to install the exhaust but it is impossible for me to reach the bolts that connect the cat converter to the down pipe, its far up in the engine and positioned very ackwardly, Im lost. Is there a way that I can take these bolts out without removing large components of my engine? Does anyone have suggestions for what direction I should take on this project. As of now I can hardly fit anything in the spot that I need to get to. Is there something I can do to make this easier, or does anyone know a website where I can get instructions? The borla website doesnt have instructions for my year audi, only the 2002 and up audis. Thank you for whatever help i recieve.

 

I can't help with your question but any good muffler shop should only charge like 50 to 70 bucks to through it on for you.
