Anyone know how to disable the Audi A4 alarm?

I have a 1999 Audi A4 2.8, I want to disable the alarm when locking my car. I had tried to use the key to manually lock it, but once I turn the key, the alarm automatically armed. Is there a way to lock your car without activating the car's alarm? Please provide detailed instructions. Thanks in advance!

 

Use the manual lock on the inside of the drivers door when you get out. It will lock the doors but the alarm will not be armed.

 

There is a button low on the B pillar.
Press that button and you have like 5 seconds to close the door and lock the car (with remote). The alarm will not engage.
