ECS has the VW precat oxygen sensor that they state works on the ATW engine. Has anyone used it and what is their experience on the ATW.

i don't have an ATW, but i do know that www.shokan.com has pretty cheap sensors that aren't universal or anything, they just don't include the housing or the wires, you have to reuse the old ones, but they are about 1/2 as much as new OE sensors

I have one on my ATW. I am not 100% sure it is doing the best job, but it runs fine and no codes thrown. But my mileage is not where I want it to be, and I have checked everything else, so it's possible the new O2 sensor is not really up to snuff.

I am going to check the gap on my plugs tonight and make sure they are ok. If that pans out then it has to be the O2 sensor.
