Anyone using the behemoth wix 51333 oil filter?

I've used it on my 2.8 and love it. I've stocked up on 4 since. I hear a lot of the Vw 1.8t transverse guys using it. They're a great price too at fleetfilter.com (under $6 each!). Anyone else out there using it?

The big sucker OEM filters are under 6 dollars too.

Yup yup. Thanks to the piece on the botom of it, all you need to take them out is a screwdriver.

K&N also has large oil filters too. Incase if you cannot get filter ontime or something K&N is the second option. Still Mann is the Man!

I bought a 5 pack from ECS. When I get down to one extra, I'll order some more.

The thing is I don't live close to the dealer, and I don't like how high ECS charges for shipping. The equivalent to the 51333 is the Purolator L40316, which in fact is a Mann made W940/25.
