Reading > you. I clearly said I was only talking about b6 a4's MANY MANY TIMES. (many) You misread what I wrote(or didnt read it at all) and maybe I skimmed to quickly over what you read. Can we be mature and call it a truce because we are clearly talking about different things

The point was b5's do more with less fueling and the b6's should do the same. Why the tuner(s) decided to switch is the debate. My only reason is money. If this was vortex, there would be a rep in here in a minute, since its not, nope.

I can't figure out what your point is cincy. Are you saying there's no benefit to going 1+ over 1? I know you're saying the bigger injectors are overkill, and that may be so. But so what? The 1+ is better than 1. The 1+ has more power than 1. Is it overkill? Maybe. But it's better than 1. What's the harm?

What would GIAC/APR/REVO have to gain by making files with the 380cc injectors? I didn't buy my injectors from GIAC. They got nothing extra from me by me choosing to go with 1+ instead of 1.

The point is that the turbo will max out before the stock injectors would. So there is no point in them uping the injectors, especailly to something that massive. 317cc...sure....380cc.... no.

i think cincy is say it was a waste of money to get the tt injectors but if that is what you belive was the right thing to do and it work for you then who cares what anyone else has to say

Example: i have a adjustable frp and some say it was a waste but i got it because my stock frp started to leak a little so i thought hey what a great time to upgrade it and that the adjustable was just a little more then the stock one so i got the adjustable

do i really need it(NO) stock would of worked fine but the adjustable works just fine for me

Sure, that may be the case. And it's probably the reason there isn't a huge jump going from 1 to 1+. But is 317cc enough for k04? If not, then would it make sense to go to 317cc with 1+, then if you decide later to go k04, have to move up injectors again to 380cc?

if the sw is writen for 380cc, you should run 380cc. 317cc @4bar is basically 380cc @3bar which is what the 225's run and they make more power with a bigger k04, so that is deffinalty enough fuel.

I talked to a guy at APR and he said that more fuel pressure doesnt necessarily mean the injector will spray more fuel. The 317cc injector will max out at 317cc no matter what fuel pressure. He said you can try running lower cc injectors at a higher pressure but they wont run right at all.

That info is false. Go post that in the 1.8t section in vortex and in seconds you will have 20post laughing at that statement that fuel pressure doesnt change injectors fueling. Why do you think the a4's run 28xcc injectors @4bar and the transverse engines run 317cc @3bar... same turbo and ~ the same fueling.
