Quartz... you will be very pleased..... My next purchase will be a V1 radar detector.. lmao!

I was talking to the salesman yesterday and he stated that a base price increase was being mentioned... only about $1200-$2000, but an increase non-the-less, I would guess first of the year....

Wednesday is Vortex, tint, mats, and oil..... then I can start shopping for springs.

I heard the same thing about price increases. Also, up here in NJ, the supply is pretty tight as well. Seems like there aren't too many deals to be had. Glad I got mine when I did!

Did you mention your APR job to your dealer? I'm wondering what the service manager's reaction might be.

Why would you mention a flash to your dealer ?
I have APR on my B6 and just flip to stock when I go in for service.

Dave - 04A4's post following yours is exactly the reason. Depending on the dealer, the service tech, et al, sometimes there's more to be gained from being straight with them. They may, depending on their own interests, be more supportive.

True guys... I haven't had it in for service yet, but was talking to the guys at GMP and they said, unless the techs are taking it out on the road, don't worry about it. I will (once it is out) just switch to stock when I tak eit in, but you and I both know that any service guy knows how to access APR programs and can find it.

Legally, if you wanted to battle Audi on the subject, they would have to prove beyond any reasonable doubt, that the damage in question was a DIRECT cause of the chip.... hard to do, but who in here whould want to take Audi to court.... lol

Honestly, I have thought about buying a 2nd ECU for this reason, just in case something MAJOR happens..... but for now, all is well.

And as for the MTM, I like it, but will stay stock for now myself... for the above reason... a LOT easier to spot an aftermarket exhaust than a chip....

and OBTW, second tank of gas on the chip, and so far so good on MPG.
