Default APR 91 oct. chip

alright so I bought my 91 chip with ecu used for 4 bills...

now I want more power with little to no money to spend.

I contacted APR they said they will upgrade to 93 oct. chip all I have to do is pay for shipping. I know it adds like 6 hp. and I run 93 all the time anyway. should I go for it? i won't have any downtime since I have my old ecu still... (not looking forward to the few days of retuurning to stock though) haha! just thought I'd run it past you guys I'm pretty much set on doing it. is there a noticeable difference? gas mileage? they claim at least 1 more mpg... and its cheap probly 15 for shipping...

will they care that i bought the ecu used? like is my name not in some database of original owners or something like that?

thanks for any info...

I don't have the 1.8t (2.0t), but there is a big difference between the 91 and 93 octane program on mine.

yeah i figured send it in... and if they give me a hard time.. play dumb.... and just hope they'll upgrade it. if they ask me any questions I'll just be like "Huh? I don't know what you mean... Is my ecu in the mail yet? hahah! worse comes to worse I'm out $15, but I could end up with 6-8 hp and more torque which is always nice.
