does cooldown mean that you just drive really "softly" or does it mean that you leave your car idleing for 10 minutes?

def. go with the apr software, I have it and haven't had any problems with it yet. Its a huge difference over stock but I'm ready for a big turbo setup

Rofl @ 10 mins cool down.

After a real hard run, a couple mins is enough to cool the oil temps considerably. A lot of people who useturbo timers mainly have them to say "I have a turbo timer." If you take it easy during the last few minutes of your drive, there is no reason you shouldnt feel comfortable killing the engine when you park. Its extra hillarious when people with a k03 and stock tuning have turbo timers.

Since you have a B6, Id skip the regular chip and get a big injector file like the APR 1+ or GIAC FX. Its a difference of about 35hp between the regular chip and big injector chip. Also a difference of a couple hundred bucks, but its probably the best bang for the buck. I still dont understand why they dont make a big injector file for the B5's. SOBs.

The turbo life may be shortened by the chip. That said, I've been chipped for almost 100K miles and the car is now at 190K. Turbo is making a little noise, but not bad.

My cars got 80000 miles on it as is to add to that and i honestly dont need my turbo to last me any longer than another 30000 or so cuz i should def have a bigger turbo in the next year or two.. That being said my mom was the owner for the first 60000 miles and obviously didnt drvie it hard at all.. im not too bad i dont drive slow but im also kinda cheap when it comes to gas lol soo i dont usuallly floor it all the time..

necause the b6 has the k03s which can flow more air than the regular K03
