i put my r1 in about a week before my 1+ flash,, the R1 tore on the test drive... it was hell getting it warrantied too and they havent held up their end of the deal yet... get a forge 007, its tried and true...

what good does a warranty do when your car is down and u have to mail the R1 back and wait for them to get it, then mail you a new one>?

Theres no point. The strat dv will last aslong as the carassuming it is the piston version.

thats easy to say if your OEM wasnt torn too...

its just sad if a DV designed for their massive stage 3+ program tears on a test drive after getting a 1+ flash...

I looked for a boost leak for a month and was even about to get reflashed because i wasnt making full boost and all the shops and apr insisted it couldnt be the R1.. but when i removed it, and saw it was torn and called them, APR said oh yeah thats been happening a lot... i had talked to them four or five times and they swore they were bulletproof then!

bad service

i dunno if it is or not...... like i said, i got it used with about 20k on it a yr ago....... but i get stuttering from it now and then, so that is why i was going to replace it
