Okay. so this is my first winter with this software. It ran okay during the summer, but now that things have gotten colder, I have been fighting with it day in and out. It stalls at idle all the time and takes about 30 seconds to start up again. You have no idea how many middle fingers i've gotten at green lights cuz my car stalls. I've gone through a bunch of different plugs and ended up regappiong and using the stock ones to get it to run okay. the car will drive okay, but REALLY fights to idle.
If anyone has had any luck with this SW in the winter, lemme know. the only other person I knew that had this was TomRitt. Anyone else???

 

i also have atp software, and its getting colder. i find that it takes a bit longer to start also. as for stalling when u slow down, i keep my car in second gear tell it is just about ready to stall, going about 5mph or so, then i put the clutch in at the last moment. when at a light i keep it from stalling by just resting my foot on the gas a bit. but my problem goes away when the car warms up, how long does ur car do this? as for the middle finger part, i get that too and the honk. o ya how long have u had ur software for? every day i drive my car my ecu is learning and getting better so it is occuring less and less. do u have a lwfw?

 

unplug ur maf and tell us how it runs. i bet it will run alot better

 

hey jeff how do u have that afc2 hooked up i heard u cant run those bc we dont have 5v mafs. would u have a write up by chance how to instal one of these? also did u see a gain with it by fine tuning the a/f ratio. also what year and turbo r u runing. also if it is a t3/t4 whast the specs of it? thx

 

ummm.. i don't have a MAP so it won't work .. only MAF
