Audi A4: Good or Bad?
Hey guys, I am just stoppin by to see what you guys have to say about your A4 in general. Do you guys like it or no? Are they worth some of the problems I heard they have? If you could, ona scale 1-10 (1 being lowest, 10 being the best), rate your overall experience with the car. Also, if you could, include the year of your A4, the Pros of it, and the Cons of it. Thanks in advance!
Try searching around. "reliability".... 99% of the people here love their A4. Its not as reliable as a Honda/Toyota/Nissan, but the experience of driving an A4 is well worth any short comings or notorious problems. I personally give it a 9. Like i said, try a search because there are a hell of a lot of threads of peole asking your same question with tons of good replies.
Love my car to death. You get what you pay for and these cars are defintly built well, german engineering
None of this Jap-Crap! You have to figure out what you want to get out of your vehicle...light to light they're deftinly not the quickest ride out of the box but overall handling & comfort are unbelievable. Defintly an endless amount of afermarket support as well as a rediculous amount of bolt-ons.

I am not really sure what problems people have with their A4, but I guess it costs a lot. Chances are, since this will be my first car and I don't have a lot of money, I won't be modding this car or tuning it at all until maybe senior year of highschool or once I graduate from H.S. I want to get some decent rims for it, along with a new suspension. But both of those combine may run around $2k.
I hate it, stay away. It has become a huge money pit, not that I have had problem with the car but the endless supply of part I have been able to find and waste my money on. I am actually considering a weekend job so as I may be able to buy more parts.
Other than that it is the best car I've ever owned and the most fun to drive.

Hi
I bought an 2002 A4 3.0 Avant this summer and has
had no problems. My overall impression is of drivability
and solidity. I would however bet that problems would
occur more frequently than a Toy. or Niss. etc. and repair
would be more expensive but they are great to drive so
good luck
