The people I hang out with have some of the fastest cars on the street, one of my friends has the fastest street evo ever built (check out performanceautowerks.com that right AMS isn't the ones to have built the best), most of the people I hang out with have 700+ hp cars and I feel a little left out. From your mod list it looks like I spent more on my car in the lat 2 months than you have since you bought it, it just gets tough revamping a house and spending money on a car at the same time. Maybe you should try some motivational classes to find the energy to work a couple of jobs and be a father save for the futhure, build your dream house and dream car all at the same time. I would bet I put more money into my housethis lastyear than you made last year BOY.

What is Top Ramen? I didn't get offended by your insult to my spending habbits I got pissed because you deleted my post in the other thread because I insulted your automotive knowledge , basic steering and suspension.

 

I deleted your post because you were discounting legitimate help lended by myself and an other knowledgable member for no reason other than to sound like a know it all. Theres no reason to knock advice that is correct and helpful.

Re: side bar- i love ramen noodles, and theyre even better when you save money by not cooking them.. Much better uncooked smashed up in a bowland seasoned imo!

on subject- I wouldnt say they are unreliable either, but for anyone concerned about problems arising, and they sometimes do, investing in VAG COM is the best advice I could ever give for that. www.ross-tech.com Can save you hundreds if not thousands of dollars in diagnosing.

 

Getting back to the subject I would say Audis are reliable, but they got a bad name for broken timing belts. Proper maintnence makes a huge difference.

 

Especially back in the day when some of the 5000 S's had a sticking throtle cable that caused a run away car. It made Reader's Diagest, the news, and more. They lost a lot of business from that and it dented their reputation for years.Then, the timing belt tensioner thing. Looks like they are soon due for another serious mistake, maybe in the B8 models.
