Hello,

I just bought an Audi a4 2000. It is a great car, but I would like to plan for performance modifications for next year. I don't know where to start. Can anyone give me suggestions as to what I could do to the car- and how much horsepower to expect. Also, any info as to where I could find information would be great. One more thing, my clutch is releasing at the very top, is this normal?

i hope u have the 1.8T
you can proubly just chip, new DV, exhuast and htat should give u a lil over 200 to the crank
that should hold u over for a lil bit

and if u have the v6 to bad theres not alot of mods for that car besides a crazy expesive supercharger

 

I do have the 1.8T. By the way, what is a DV?

Diverter valve. To hold the higher pressure after putting in a new chip, you will need to replace the diverter valve as the OEM one wont hold much over 10 PSI.

The valve from the TT called the 710N will hold the higher pressure. Cost is about 35 dollars.

 

Yes, the clutch in our cars lets out very high.
