audi AWD and Volvo AWD
Lol yeah, but try driving RWD with summer tires in the snow. Man it took me 4 hours to drive a 15 minute drive. I would just put the car into gear and the *** would go left or right, the car wouldnt go forward to save your life, even at idle. Willing to bet the audi AWD would probably be better with no tires, then the z32 was with summers.
Actually the Attesa awd system is the most advanced system on the market.

Yea i guess i was kind of depressed when i first learned about the attesa cause i have much love for my quattro. Kind of like being 1st in something then getting dropped to 2nd because of technicality. [&o]
Well think of it this way, Attesa E-TS is setup strictly for performance, so in racing, it outperforms anything. Hell I believe the EVO/STi AWD will outperform Quattro in a race, but for practical everyday use with some racing tossed in, Quattro is still going to be the winner, and is still the most reliable of the bunch. Which in my opinion, since I’m not loaded, reliability is the most important thing. Ill gladly lose 1 second off my lap time to make sure I make it home afterwards, and to work the next day.

klum00 - Its the AWD system from the Nissan Skyline. Its a damn good race system, probably the best out there on dry road. It will detect wheel spin in the rear, and subtract power accordingly, then add the power back to the front, in fractions of a second, to ensure the most power being applied to the ground at any given moment.
I'd kill for an r33 lol

When I was shopping for my Audi, I drove a new Volvo, S40 or S60 don't recall. The salesman took me on a hell of a test drive (albeit in dry weather). The car handled very well, felt very secure and solid and safe. However, it did not have the FUN appeal of the Audio. My A4 is just a hell of a lot more fun to drive than the Volvo.
That may not answer your question about the AWD, but if you're comparing the two, that's my nickel of advice.
